Reservations and cancellations
- Unless otherwise specified, check-in should be after 2:00 p.m. and check-out before noon. A day use charge may apply upon extended use of the room.
- The hotel is bound to hold reserved bedrooms until 6 p.m. only if a credit card
number has been taken by the hotel to guarantee the reservation. This does not apply
to reservations for which a deposit has been made, in such case, reservations are
guaranteed for a 24-hour period.
- If the conditions concerning any pre-payment
or deposits are not upheld by the client, the hotel reserves the right to cancel
the event or bedroom reservation by informing the client by mail, facsimile or e-mail.
Conferences, Banquets & Events (MICE Market)
- Unless otherwise specified, in
case of the client’s cancellation or non-arrival, the following cancellation policies
apply in order to compensate the hotel for the loss of revenue:
90 days prior to arrival without penalty
45 to 90 days prior to arrival 30% of total amount
30 to 45 days prior to arrival 50% of total amount
10 to 30 days prior to arrival 75% of total amount
9 days or less 100% of total amount
- The final number of attendees and a rooming list for the event must be delivered to the hotel no later than 5
days prior to the date of the event. Charges will be based on this confirmed number.
If the number of attendees differs significantly from the original booking, the
hotel reserves the right to allocate the event to an alternate meeting room or banquet
hall with its respective rental charges.
- In case of any overrun of the event’s time, an additional hourly charge may apply for the use of the space.
- The hotel
grants a license to the client to use the Hotel’s premises strictly for the purpose
of the function. Political functions must be clearly declared as such at the time
of booking. Third parties with the hotel’s written consent may only use the premises.
- No food, beverage or other consumable goods are to be brought on the hotel’s premises
by the client or his guests without the written consent of the hotel. An additional
charge may apply in case the hotel gives its written consent to the foregoing.
Liability
- In the case of loss or damage to the property of guests, the hotel’s liability
is limited to the Croatian applicable law
- The client or event organizer shall
be liable for any loss or damage to the fixtures and the property of the hotel caused
by him or his guests
- It is the responsibility of the contracting party to insure
any articles or vehicles brought on the hotel premises against theft or damage.
The hotel accepts no responsibility.
- Hotel services such as early morning calls,
the providing of information, the delivery of mail and packages are all offered
without obligation.
- The Hotel cannot be held responsible for any outsourced services
even if organized by the hotel on behalf of the client. Any additional costs incurred
by providing these services will be charged to the client.
General
- The clients
will adhere to the statutory laws related to the event as well as to the hotel’s
rules of behavior and dress code
- Lost property (property left behind) will be
sent upon request at the guest’s expense. Articles will be kept for a period of
3 months.
- If guests do not participate in any meal or agreed service, for any
reason whatever, they cannot claim a refund or a reduction in price.
- All conditions
and arrangements made shall be valid in writing only.
- For any disputes arising
out of this contract and its performance, the registered office of the hotel is
agreed, if permitted by law, as the place of jurisdiction.
- Should one of the
above terms be null and void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining
provisions.
